Welcome to the new site for Students Helping Students. We are a Nursing student organization at Stevenson University designed to help lower level undergraduate nursing students achieve success in clinical performance and academics.
This organization is run by senior level nursing students and incorporate two specialized aspects:
Beyond Classroom Learning & Clinical Success
Goals:
- To increase competency in basic clinical skills
- To provide an additional academic resource of tutoring to promote academic success in the classroom
- To ensure junior level students an individual outlet to ensure understanding of the requirements necessary to achieve success during their junior years.
- To provide students a relaxed academic environment of learning.
- To promote the opportunity for students to practice skills on an individual basis/group teaching model.
- To take overall weaknesses perceived by senior level nursing students and emphasizing the practice of these individual weaknesses.
- To increase the confidence of junior level nursing students in their clinical performance and academic knowledge.
